Shaun Spanos, MSN, APRN, NP
Owner, Licensed Aesthetician & Advanced Practice Nurse Injector
Shaun is a prominent figure in the aesthetics and medical spa industry, widely recognized for his expertise and leadership. With an extensive educational background and over 25 years of experience, Shaun is the co-founder of Shaun Charles Med Spa, an award-winning practice known for its excellence in aesthetic services and innovative approaches to skincare.
Shaun's educational journey commenced with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing from Fitchburg State University. Shaun's passion for healthcare led him to pursue a Nursing degree from Rivier College in 2003. Further advancing his career, he obtained a Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Executive Leadership from Walden University. In 2023, he successfully completed a Nurse Practitioner program, further augmenting his skill set and knowledge base.
Shaun's commitment to the field of aesthetics began early in his career. He completed his Aesthetics training at Blaine Beauty School and obtained licensing in Massachusetts in 1997. His dedication to staying at the forefront of the industry is evident through his continuous pursuit of advanced education in aesthetic procedures and technologies.
As a highly skilled Nurse Injector, Shaun specializes in neurotoxin injections and facial fillers, employing both traditional and micro-cannula techniques. His expertise extends to utilizing medical laser and energy-based devices for facial rejuvenation. With additional certifications in various areas including skin peels, HydraFacial, Collagen Induction Therapy, PRF, IM & IV vitamin therapy, and cosmetic laser procedures, Shaun remains at the pinnacle of his profession.
Shaun's contributions and excellence have been acknowledged through prestigious awards. In 2022, he received the Aesthetic Guide award for best non-surgical facial rejuvenation, followed by the honor of being recognized as the 2023 Global Plasma Award winner.
Beyond his role at Shaun Charles Med Spa, Shaun is dedicated to educating and mentoring aspiring Nurse Injectors at the Audrey Rose Institute of Medical Aesthetics in Woburn, Massachusetts. Additionally, he serves as a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for NeoGen PSR with Emergent Med Tech, sharing his expertise and insights within the industry.

Jeff Spanos
Owner, Skin Specialist, KOL & Business Manager
Jeff stands as a foundational figure in the realm of aesthetics and skincare, serving as the Business Manager and Co-founder of Shaun Charles Med Spa. With an expansive client base exceeding over ten thousand, Jeff's dedication resides in mentoring, educating, and empowering clients to achieve and sustain flawless skin. His focus extends beyond aesthetic treatments, delving into the realms of holistic skincare by emphasizing the importance of nutritional supplementation alongside meticulous external care.
Possessing an innate understanding of skin health and its intricacies, Jeff excels in designing bespoke skincare routines tailored to a variety of skin types and conditions. His knowledge on ablative and non-ablative energy-based and non-energy-based devices helps him to recommend treatment plans employing these technologies to cultivate flawless skin.
Drawing from over 25 years of astute business management, Jeff has honed his skills in marketing, sales, and business administration for more than two decades. Proficient in overseeing profit and loss statements, he possesses a mastery in managing overheads and costs while prioritizing client results above all else.

Charlene Szloch, RN
Nurse Injector & Laser Specialist
Charlene earned her Nursing degree from Lawrence Memorial School of Nursing and Regis College in 1992. Charlene worked for 7 years at Massachusetts General Hospital, 2 years at Boston Regional Medical Center, and holds over 20 years of experience in a variety of nursing positions at Winchester Hospital. Charlene was certified in cosmetic injectables in 2013 from the Aesthetic Institute of Massachusetts. Charlene is a highly skilled Nurse Injector, she specializes in neurotoxin injections and Laser treatments. Charlene holds certifications in medical-grade skin peels, micro-needling & cosmetic laser procedures. Charlene also holds certifications IM vitamin injections, IV hydration/vitamin therapy.
Diane Avola
Licensed Master Aesthetician, Laser Specialist, Aromatherapist & Reiki Master
Diane has worked at Shaun Charles Med Spa for over 7 years. Diane earned her degree in Esthetics from the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in 1999 and has over 20 years of experience as a licensed Esthetician. Diane is a certified aromatherapist & has over 5 years of experience working with essential oils. Diane is also a certified Reiki Master and has been practicing for more than 20 years.
Giselle Long, RN
Nurse Injector & Laser Specialist
Giselle graduated from the Middlesex Nursing program with honors in 2004. Giselle worked in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Unit at Lahey Hospital Burlington for many years. Giselle has 2 children, and she is a dedicated mother who enjoys hosting various sports events and functions. Giselle received her injection certifications from the Aesthetic Mentor Program in Waltham under Dr. Russo. Giselle has been training with Shaun Spanos in all forms of laser, injection techniques, and skin services and we couldn’t be more honored to have her as a part of our Med Spa family.
Melissa Bazarian
Licensed Aesthetician & Laser Specialist
Melissa started on her professional journey by obtaining her Cosmetology License from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 2019, marking the inception of her passion for beauty and aesthetics. Building upon this foundation, she pursued further education at the esteemed Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics, where she distinguished herself by completing her program with honors and acquiring her Esthetics License in 2020.
In her leisure hours, Melissa finds solace and creative expression in the realms of drawing and painting, endeavors that fuel her artistic spirit. Beyond the canvas, she delves into the captivating world of cosmetic beauty and special effects makeup, utilizing her skills to craft incredible looks that captivate and inspire.
Driven by a fervent commitment to excellence, Melissa is dedicated to advancing her expertise through ongoing education and the attainment of certifications for innovative services and techniques.
